Austin Aussy Christopher Tuey April 22, 1997 - November 8, 2014.
A wonderful baby boy was born on April 22, 1997 to Justin Tuey and Shamrae Chaplin Carrick. Austin was a very compassionate young man. He was known for his huge heart, his humbleness and for being extremely polite and courteous. Austin was very protective of his family and close friends. His smile was very genuine and you could always see his kindness on his face. Austin was a big fisherman and a great athlete. Throughout his young life he played basketball and baseball as well as football. There was not a day that passed that he didnt watch ESPN Sports center and he always had a game on. His favorite teams were San Francisco Giants, Golden State Warriors and San Diego Chargers. Austin spent a lot of time working with his young autistic cousin, Brian Jr. It was a huge deal for him to make sure his cousin could fit in, although having autism. He had progressed him enough that he does just that Fit in. Austin will be beyond missed by his friends, family and everyone who was blessed to know him. Austin is survived by his very best friend Stanley Stan, his red nosed Pit Bull that he rescued, brother Rylan Tuey, sister Lillian Carrick, Grandmother Mo Patricia Hawkins, Grandmother Sharon August, Grandpa Gary Chaplin, grandparents Roly and Linda Carrick, Aunt Julia Tuey Machado, cousins Brian Machado Jr. and Sephora Machado, Aunt Chelsea Branstetter, cousins Macy Branstetter, Kylee Branstetter and Lane Branstetter, and several other family members throughout Humboldt county and beyond. Preceded in death by his grandfather Danny Wayne Tuey, his great grandparents, Leland and Ethel Bolt Tuey, great grandparents Frank and Florence Scalvini Hawkins. Funeral service will be Sunday, November 23, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Gobles Fortuna Mortuary, 560 12th Street, Fortuna, California, with a celebration of Life directly afterward at the Fortuna VFW hall. Arrangements are under the care of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary.
