BEVERLY JEAN HOUGH Beverly Jean Hough passed away on July 3, 2016 in the Mattole Valley, California. She was born on August 26, 1929 in San Francisco, California and adopted by Arlene and Franklin Morris of Crockett, California. She went to high school in Crockett and lived in the Tahoe area for 50 years before moving to the Mattole area for the last 16 years. She is survived by her husband, Harold Hough of Mattole Valley, California and her son, Barry Cardwell of the Sacramento area. She is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter, Lorie Cardwell. She was an avid San Francisco Giants fan never missing a game on T.V. and she was a member and officer of the Mattole Grange. She leaves behind her dear friends of Truckee, California: Jaye O'Hanlon, Jane Flannigan and Ann Knudsen. Beverly loved to gather with her friends in the Mattole Valley and have a pot luck dinner and reminisce. There will be a celebration of life on Labor Day at the Hough Ranch. Arrangements are under the care of Goble's Fortuna Mortuary.
