Clarence Lee Sonny Morton passed away January 8, 2015, with his family by his side. He is preceded in death by his wife Joyce Ann and son Noel Vincent. He is survived by his daughter Penny (Todd) Calvo and grandchildren; Ryan Essig, Devin Morton, Sasha Essig, Brandon Morton, Misty Calvo, Cheyenne Morton, Layton Calvo, and great grandchildren; Vincent Morton and Wyatt Sanderson, sister Bobbie (Garnett) Buckner, Pauline (Bill) Evans, Brenda (Herman) Delmenico, Sue (Bill) Gordon and many family and friends. Sonny was born in Hannah, Oklahoma on June 22, 1941, and moved to Humboldt County in 1959 where he met and married the love of his life Joyce Collings. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2015 from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Fortuna Fire Hall. Arrangements are under the care of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary.
