Curtis F Ambrosini

Curtis Ambrosini, 93 passed away on February 3rd, 2017 in Fortuna, California. He was born on October 15, 1923 in Ferndale, California to Delmo and Olivia Scilacci Ambrosini. Curtis grew up in Ferndale. He joined the Navy at an early age and spent most of Navy career in Dutch Harbor Alaska as an Aviator Store Keeper. Curtis came home from the service and went to work on the family ranch. He then worked for the Humboldt County Road Department as a grader operator and later transferred to the bridge crew as a supervisor, where he retired in 1986. Curtis met the love of his life and married Shirley Warner in 1946. They were married for 71 years. He enjoyed working in his shop, building all kinds of things. My favorite was the old western town. Curtis is survived by his spouse Shirley, his children Wayne Ambrosini and Vicki Hawkins, his granddaughters AnnaKate Pedrotti and Carlie Moore. He was preceded in death by his parents Delmo and Olivia and his brother Lloyd. To honor his wishes, there will be private services at the cemetery. When I come to the end of the road, dont cry for a soul is set free. Miss me a little but not for long. Remember the good times and love we shared, for this journey we must each go alone. Miss me but let me go.
