Daniel Harry Sanderson

Passed away on November 23, 2013 at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
Dan was born December 3, 1934 in Eureka, California to Vernon Sr. and Dagny Sanderson. He served in the Navy for four years, after he was discharged he started working at PG & E in 1957 and retired after 38 years, in 1995. He was a long time resident of Bridgeville, California. Dans true enjoyments were playing musical instruments and restoring old cars, the first car he restored was a 1938 Cadillac, which won him many blue ribbons. He also loved to debate, especially with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife, Karen, of 56 years. His 3 children Mark Sanderson (Sharon), Crystal Barrow (Rob), and Tahnya Nickols (Russell); his 7 grandchildren Trevor Trehearne (Lacey), Jammie Waters (Kameron), Jessyca Nickols, Marissa Nickols, Zackery Nickols (Kaitlin), Lukas Nickols, and Samantha Trehearne and his 2 great grandchildren Aiden Waters and Taylor Nickols.
He is also survived by his sister LaVerne Sanderson Talley and his brother Vernon Sanderson Jr. (Betty), his special in-laws Joseph & Deanna Musone and Michael Nothem. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Redwood Memorial Hospital ER & staff for their commitment and compassion to him and his family during those critical hours. No service is being held upon Dans request; however donations can be made to Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Dept., P.O. Box 51, Bridgeville, CA 95526.
