Harry Carrey Jensen

Harry Carrey Jensen Jr. born September 10, 1924 in Ferndale, California and passed away November 11, 2014. Harry Jensen and Margaret Lindner were united in marriage April 30, 1948 in Santa Rosa, Calif. and raised 3 sons: Harry Robert, Barry Martin, and Charles Henry. Harry was preceded in death by his wife Marge in 2004, and son Bob in 2011. The family took up residence in Fortuna, Calif. in 1961 where they acquired Fortuna Auto Supply and built a successful business career that included Harry's Car Wash and spanned many decades. He was a man of few words and many talents, dedicated to his family in work and in play, a phenomenal teacher and open-minded observer, an intrepid walker, avid fisherman, animal lover, master mechanic, gambler, teaser, WWII navy veteran, employer of many youths throughout the years, and an incomparable fun dad. He took everyone at face value and will be missed beyond words. He is reunited with his loving wife of 56 years and they reside in Vaughn Bay View, Washington.
