Ina Mae Youngberg Spellmeyer

INA MAE YOUNGBERG SPELLMEYER Ina's journey here ended on May 15, 2016 at the age of 85. She passed away in Fortuna, CA with family and caring nurses by her side. She is no longer in pain or suffering, now safely Home with her Lord Jesus and many loved ones. Ina was loved by all who knew her with her loving, fun and spunky personality. She worked as a waitress until she retired. Her last job was at OH's Town House. After she retired she developed her many talents in art, calligraphy and crafts. She had a terrific ministry in card sending and used her calligraphy to address each card she sent. She touched many hearts with her labor of love and her generosity. Ina was born in Minot, ND to Bill and Inez Youngberg on June 28, 1930. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Norman; parents, Bill and Inez Youngberg; sister, Janet; and her infant son. She is survived by her sister and husband, Joyce (Joe) Mitchell; nephews and wives: Jerry (Mimi) Shaha; Jason (Giustina) Shaha; Gabe (Lyne) Gerber and her dear and faithful friend, Clarice Cole, all of whom she dearly loved. I would like to thank the staff who cared for her in her last years at F.R.W.C. Ina made good friends with the nurses and CNAs. They became her extended family. I would also like to thank Dr. Tamara Dennis and Dr. Don Baird for their care. A Celebration of Life will be held June 25, 2016 at 11:00am at the Fortuna Church of the Nazarene with lunch to follow. Donations may be made to Ina's favorite ministries and organizations or your charity of choice .
