Joanne Grundhofer
Born 11/27/1934 in Scotia CA. Died 1/14/2014 in Eureka CA.
Survived by her husband of 59 years Raymond Grundhofer, Children Scott & Nanci Grundhofer, 17 grandchildren & 17 great grandchildren.
Joanne touched many lives over the years. She was involved in Girl Scouts for over 20 years as a leader trainer - council member & delegate to the National Convention.
More recently she was deeply involved with the Humboldt County Miniature Club, including a stint as club president. With the club they provided many displays through the county & participated heavily in the County fair.
A life long SF 49er fan Joanne started listening to the team on the radio starting with the teams 1st game in San Francisco. Eventually she became a season ticket holder & served 1 year as part of the support team for the Gold Rush Cheerleaders & some halftime celebrities. Joanne was a fixture in the RV tailgate scene @ Candlestick Park. Her final pro game attended was also the final San Francisco game at Candlestick Park.
