Joseph Anthony Rodriguez

Joseph A. Rodriguez "Papa Joe" was born in San Francisco on July 1,1955 to Joseph and Helen Rodriguez. Sadly, he passed away September 21, 2013 at the age of 58. As a child he vacationed in Yosemite and knew then he wanted to live in the mountains. In the 80fs he moved to Southern Humboldt so he could live in a beautiful place.He made his home in Miranda with his wife Patty and dog Boo. His annual vacation to Cabo was the highlight of the year for Joe and Patty. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph, Sister, Helen and Brother, Paul. He is survived by his wife, Patty, daughter, Rachel, son, Brian, mother, Helen, sisters, Suzanna(Julius) and Roxanna(Keith) brother, Daniel, sister-in-law, Sally, Nephews, Joe, Paul, Zach, Keith and Casey; nieces, Summer, Shannon, Sarah, Tara; great nephews Cisco and Jon Marco and great niece, Hannah. "Grandchildren" Saylor, Summer, Kaya, Elizabeth, Keaton, Flynn, and Baby Jo. Numerous friends around the world from all our traveling. A celebration of his life is planned for Saturday, October 5th at Stephens Hall in Miranda from 3 pm to . with a potluck to follow.
