Leota Ruth McCrigler completed her long and beautiful life on Friday, June 28, 2013. Leota was born in Eureka on September 23, 1932. She was a longtime Fortuna resident.
Leota is survived by her husband, Leroy; children: Larry, Lynette, Leonard, Lewis and Lori; and eight grandchildren.
Leota was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist church.
She was a charter member of the African Violet Society in Fortuna for over 25 years.
Leota loved to garden and had a passion for flowers. She was a beloved matriarch who was both kind and gentle.
Friends and Family are invited to the Memorial services for Leota on Sunday, July 7th, 2013 at Fortuna Seventh-day Adventist Church, 2301 Rohnerville Road, Fortuna, Ca. at 2 p.m.
