Margaret Woodhull Harris

May 28, 1951 to Feb. 22, 2015

Margaret Woodhull Harris of Fortuna, CA, passed away on Sunday, February, 22, 2015 at the age of 63 of lung cancer. Born and raised in Montpelier, VT. and at age 16 moved with family to Brattleboro, VT, where in 1969 she met and married husband Dan. They moved in 1976 with their two children to Stockton, CA, then in July 2004 relocated to Fortuna, CA. Meg worked Holstein Friesen Assoc. in Brattleboro VT, NAVCOMMSTA Stockton and PG&E. A member and office holder for the Independent Order of Foresters, served as Chairman of San Joaquin County Grand Jury 1996-1997. She loved needlepoint, reading, traveling, camping, gardening & grandchildren. Meg is preceded in death by her parents, John V Woodhull & Marjorie (K) Woodhull Shipman. She is survived by spouse Daniel and by son Christopher Harris (Cheryl) of Lodi, CA. and daughter Jennifer Glenn (Larry) of Eureka, CA; grandsons Corey and Chad Harris of Lodi, CA. Brothers John (Linda) Woodhull, Wheaton, Ill; Richard (Bette) Woodhull, Keene, NH; Daniel (Carol) Woodhull, Sacramento, CA and sisters Maureen (Jim) Harms, Piano, TX and Patricia (Ray) Fortier, Putney, VT. Numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of Megs life will be held at a later date to be announced. Burial will be private family. Arrangements under the care of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna, Ca.
