Marjorie Claire Davis passed away in the early hours of November 4, 2013 in Eureka, California. She went peacefully, in her sleep at age 75. She was born in Scotia, California on April 6, 1938 to her parents Lois Mae (Haygood), and William Koontz.
She was the eldest of their four children, with brothers Richard Koontz, George Koontz and Thomas Koontz.
Starting as a young mother at age 14, she birthed daughter Janice Bagley, son Edward (Butch) Bagley, son Robert Lee Bagley and daughter Teresa Davis.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her Father William Koontz, mother Lois, brother George, daughter Janice and husband Mitch Davis.
She is survived by her children, Edward and Robert Bagley and daughter Teresa Davis. She had five grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to a graveside service on Thursday, November 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Sunrise Cemetery, 3315 Newburg road, Fortuna, California.
Arrangements are under the care of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary.
