Mildred Clark, 98, of Fortuna, passed away peacefully at her home, April 27, 2014.
Mildred was born in Cerrogordo, Arkansas and was preceded in death by her husband Henry “Buster” Clark, whom she married in 1934, in Idabel, Oklahoma.
Arriving in California in 1950, Mildred spent 15 plus years working at Eureka Fisheries, retiring in the late 70’s. She will be remembered for her devotion to her family, as well as her 26 years of dedicated volunteer work at the Senior Resource Center in Eureka.
Mildred is survived by her three children: Juanita Raugh and Henry Clark Jr., both of Fortuna, & Romona Bender of King City, CA. She also is survived by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, & numerous great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Hospice of Humboldt or your favorite charity.
Arrangements are under the care of Goble’s Fortuna Mortuary, 560 12th Street, Fotuna, California.
