Our precious baby boy, Owen Allen Haselip, earned his angel wings on March 11, 2015 when he unexpectedly passed peacefully in his sleep. He was born at Redwood Memorial Hospital on January 22, 2015 and was anxiously greeted by his parents and other family at 1:19 AM. Owen was six weeks old when left us, and although our time with him was short, he left a huge imprint, touching the hearts of many. During his brief visit on earth, he enjoyed the simple things. Owen loved his morning cuddles with mommy and daddy, as well as all the kisses and hugs his brothers and sister gave him. Owen was the most happy, sweet and well behaved baby boy. He liked to get out of the house to go visit family, to run errands with mommy and daddy, go see his big brother and sister out of town and he loved going to the lake to watch daddy fish. Since Owen's time with us was very short, there are many family and friends who didn't get to meet him. But when his parents talked about him, all the little things he did, everyone still got the chance to know him. He might have been small, but he made a big impact on a lot of people, and touched the hearts of our family, friends and community. He had his mommy's smile, his daddy's smirk, made goofy faces and silly sounds. We are going to miss it all. Owen was loved deeply by his family and will never be forgotten. He is survived by his mother Patsy Yazzolino, his brother Clinton, father Austin Haselip, his brothers and sisters, one of which he never got a chance to meet. His uncles, Tim Bones, Dustyn Moore, Eric Neely, Kyle Bones, Jesse Carrington, Matt Kempe, Talib Murray, Jeremy Ward, Brice Balcom and Robert Parrish, his aunts Cassandra Yazzolino, Veronica Haselip, Jacinda Ward, Niki, his grandfathers Ray Haselip, Wayne Yazzolino, great grandfather Claude R. Parrish, his grandmothers Connie Otis, Darline Neely and great grandmother Pat Neely. Friends and family are invited to services at Goble's Fortuna Mortuary, 560 12th Street, Fortuna, California on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 11:00 AM, followed by a potluck at Rohnerville Park.
