Patricia Helen (Emery) Bishop passed away on the morning of November 17, 2013 in Fortuna. Patricia (Pat) was born October 4, 1928 to James and Elsie Emery in Oakley Idaho. Pat was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Edward (Ed) Bishop and two grandsons Edwin and Michael. Patricia is survived by her brother Wayne and his wife Leslie Emery of Phoenix, AZ. She is also survived by her seven children; sons: Greg (wife: Betty) of Altamonte Tennessee, Brian (wife: Kathy) of Eureka, Steven (wife: Shirley) of Weaverville, Grant (wife: Leona) of Rio Dell; daughters Susie (husband: Jess) Anderson of Stafford, Elsie (husband: Anthony) Micheli of Saint Helena, and Amy (husband: Mike) Davis of Willow Creek. Patricia is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and 3 great-great- grandchildren.
Patricia loved to garden and tell stories. Her favorite stories were from her childhood in Idaho where she and her father "Pop" rode horses and hunted and trapped.
Patricia was a devote Jehovahs Witness for over sixty years. She took in the brothers and sisters of the Kingdom Hall as her second family, and continued to have meetings at her home in Fortuna up to her passing.
Memorial Services will be held at 7:00 pm, Friday November 22, 2013 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses at 1475 Ross Hill Road in Fortuna.
The family will be having a family only gathering after the services.
