Patricia Lee (Robinson) Seher

Patricia Lee Seher passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, at the age of 86. Born on April 13, 1938, in Fortuna, CA, she grew up in a loving family and attended Cuddeback School in Carlotta, CA, and later graduated Fortuna High School 1956.

Patricia began her career at Fortuna High School in 1956 and dedicated over 20 years as a teacher's aide and office staff at Hydesville School. Known for her commitment to education and community, she also served as one of the first female volunteer firefighters in Hydesville. Her hobbies included dancing at many Granges, Painting, Cross-Stitch, and passionately supporting local high school sports, where she lovingly earned the nickname "Cookie Grandma."

She is survived by her son, Brad Seher (Kristy), and granddaughter, Aly Seher; sisters, Ann Tucker (Ron) and Sherrie Chairez (Frank); nephews, Scott Tucker and Ryan Chairez; nieces, Natalie Cady (Mike) and Allison Brogiotti (Ben); great-nieces and nephews, Zach, Heather, Cameron, Jacob, Brandon, Sarah, Emma, and Ellie; and great-great-nephew, Noah. Patricia was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Ferguson, stepfather, Elmer Ferguson, father, Ed Robinson, and her beloved husband, Roy Seher.

A graveside service will be held on October 2, 2024, at 2 PM at Ocean View Cemetery in Eureka, followed by a Celebration of Life at the Fortuna Fire Hall. Goble's Fortuna Mortuary in Fortuna, CA, is assisting the family with the arrangements. Patricia's life was marked by her dedication to her community and family, and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
