Peggy Sue Brown

Peggy Sue Brown, age 59, of the Mad River area passed away on July 4, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. Born February, 23, 1954 in Ohio to Stanley and Dorthea Pozorski. Raised in Eagle Lake, Minnesota where she made many lifelong friends. Following that she traveled to many places before making Trinity County her home in 1975.
While working as a waitress at the Dinsmore Store Diner she met Melvin C. Brown and they married on December 21, 1981 at the court house in Astoria, Oregon; uniting two families as one.
Peggy enjoyed being outdoors, gardening and arrow heading, but most of all being with her grandchildren.
She is survived by sister, Vickie, three brothers; Mike, Joe, Pat and their families. Also, her children Nonie (Ray) Kettle, their three children and Craig (Angie) Moore, their two children. By marriage, Kathy Dinges, her two children, Melanie Heckenberg, her two children, Cliff (Sherry) Brown, their five children, Christa Brown (deceased), her three children. As well as, an abundance of other loved ones.
Proceeded in death by both her father Stanley and Mother Dorthea, her husband of 31 years, Mel and daughter, Christa.
Graveside funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Meadows Cemetery, Mad River, Ca.
