Rafael Reyna Jimenez Born July 19, 1929 in Michoacn Mexico departed our presence on July 15, 2014.
Rafael came to the Hydesville area in 1962 and within the first week began to work for Pacific Lumber Company and over the years working many jobs until he retired after 30 years in The Mill. He was always a hard-working man and everyone around him knew that. Rafael loved family get-togethers especially the food part. He loved hunting in the Yager Creek area and would often take the whole family in the family car. He loved his garden and enjoyed tending it and talking about it. He would often invite family and friends to come take from the garden because there would always be too much. He was a long-time resident of Hydesville. When asked why he chose to live in Hydesville he said, I liked the water here because it tastes really good and refreshing
Rafael is survived by his wife Consuelo Torres Jimenez, daughter Hilda, sons Jacinto, Sergio and family, brother Gabriel Reyna and family, sister Raquel Reyna Meraz and family, many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
