Rosemary A (Thomson) Silva

Rosemary Silva was born in Scotia, California on October 17, 1923, and left us on July 30, 2024, at the age of 100. Rosemary lived her entire life in Humboldt County and grew up in Fortuna.

She is survived by a loving family including her children, David Silva, Tanya Tuey, Tim Silva, all of Fortuna, and Anoy Silva along with his wife Staci of Orland, California. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, nine great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and screaming, "WOO HOO, what a ride!

Rosemary's family has announced that no services are planned. Goble's Fortuna Mortuary in Fortuna, California, is assisting the family during this time. The family wishes to thank everyone for their support.
