Sadie Arzilla Dean
On the morning of July 22, 2013, Sadie Arzilla Dean passed away. She leaves behind three surviving sons; James Dean and wife Maria, Gordon Dean and wife Connie and Jed Dean and wife Janice. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Her husband Wesley Dean preceded Sadie in death. They were married in 1953 and had five sons.
She was born in Eureka, California and raised in Rohnerville, California. She attended Fortuna High School and Humboldt State University. She worked as a draftsman for Boeing and various other organizations in her working life.
She was active in Cub Scouts and Little League. She enjoyed travel and crafts.
Sadie moved back to Fortuna, California in 1993 and retired there. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Services are on Saturday, July 27 at 1:00 PM at Gobles Fortuna Mortuary.
Arrangements are under the care of Gobles Fortuna Mortuary, Fortuna, California.
