Sheila Ann Griesbach

Sheila Ann Griesbach peacefully passed away on September 18, 2013 due to unforeseen complications from heart surgery. Sheila was born 66 years ago in Scotia, CA to Bob and Alice Griesbach and was a lifetime resident of Fortuna. She loved serving others and continually enriched the lives of those around her. Sheila was well known for her kindness and generosity to all and was a stranger to no one. She easily expressed her love and compassion to others and offered genuine heartfelt sympathy to those in need of an encouraging word. She found comfort in her faith in the Lord and appreciated the years where she was able to attend church in Scotia with her neighbor Bev Langdon. She had numerous hobbies including knitting, crocheting, quilting, making doll clothes, and baking. She especially enjoyed her chickens (who she dubbed her fuzzy ball kids) and many residents in Fortuna were recipients of the eggs.
Sheila is survived by her parents Bob and Alice Griesbach, her sisters Sharon Pick, Janice Scott, Kathy Harrison, and many nieces and nephews. We invite those who loved Sheila to join us for a celebration of her life on Saturday September 28, 2013 at 2:00 at Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, 1431 Ross Hill Road, Fortuna, CA.
