Shurina Ann Tate

Shurina Ann Tate Our loving Shurina Tate age 37 passed away on November 7, 2014. She was born April 25, 1977 in Eureka, California to Sharon and Edward Tate. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, godmother and loving friend. Shurina worked as a nurses-aide at Timber Ridge and Mad River Hospital. After discovering her passion for children, she later established a day care where she was able to nourish the spirits of children with her unconditional love. She was also well known in the community for her Indian Taco booth on 4th of July. She leaves to cherish her memories: her parents Sharon and Edward Tate, sister Carena Tate, nephew Jeremiah Tate-Golden, Grandmother Annie Pearl Tate, Aunt Nancy Steele, and Uncle Bert Steele, and numerous other relatives and friends Shurina loved and adored. The Funeral service will be held at the Women's Club on J St., Eureka, Ca on Friday 11/14 at 10am. Following will be a Celebration of Life dinner at 5pm located at the Wharfinger Building.
