Stella Maxine Humphrey

Stella M. (Daniels) Carter Humphrey, 94, passed away Friday, July 26, 2013 at home in Ferndale.
Stella was born in Jamestown, Colorado on October 9, 1918, the daughter of James A. Daniels and Lillian A. (Cheeseman) Daniels .
Stella was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary 2218 Chelan, Washington.
Stella is survived by daughter, Barbara (Al) Carlson, Grandson Jon (Jamie) Carlson, Son Ivan (Norma) Carter, Great Grandson Leslie Bowie, Jr., Granddaughter Lori Snyder, Great Granddaughter Jennifer Looney, GGGS. Connor and GGGD. McKenzie, Great Grandson Michael Looney. She is also survived by numerous other relatives.
Stella was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers and sisters, Lester Daniels, Eddie Daniels, Effie Kellogg, Mildred A. Daniels, Jess Daniels and E. Millie Fleming, her Grandsons Leslie Bowie and Bobby Bowie, her daughter Patricia Harned, son James Carter, her first husband Ivan Carter and her second husband Will Humphrey. Also by numerous other relatives.
The family would like to thank Hospice of Humboldt for all their help. Memorials in her name may be made to Hospice of Humboldt. Graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery in Arcata, on Wednesday July 31 at 1:00 PM.
